Helping the community during covid 19 pandemic

About the project:

The pandemic has been a very difficult period for most people. It has been very hard on Care homes and runaway shelters, who depend on outside help.

CWF, seeing the ground reality and the lack of help and funding, decided to adopt two shelter homes in Delhi who take care of young children.

Jamghat is a runaway shelter, where vulnerable children are taken care off, they live and are educated by the shelter. We atCWF met their needs of every day rations like rice, wheat, cooking oil, pulses, salt, sugar and toiletries. We ensure that all children were well nourished and taken care off.

Udayan Care home is a home where young girls and boys live. The care home looks after their needs of education, food and shelter. CWF, worked with Udayan Care to ensure all the daily needs of the children’s nutrition were met. The daily rations, of rice, wheat, cooking oil, sugar, pulses and the toiletries were sent to them on a monthly basis.

It is our core value at CWF, that thevulnerable and underprivileged children are taken care and given the help and support that they deserve.

We believe that each child deserves respect and feels wanted.
